    1. So sorry for the late reply but I’ve been away from blogging. How are you these days? You are and have a broken soul with PTSD and it takes time to repair it. My broken soul has not been repaired, nor do I think it will ever be as the damage was just too overwhelming. Thanks for commenting and I’m with you in your struggle with abuse.

    1. First of all, I want to apologize for the late reply, but you were in my spam folder and I was on holidays. Pat yourself on the back, that took guts to share your story, however, you are no longer a victim but now you are a survivor. Actually, you are a Warrior. I’m sorry you had to experience that as a child, no child should ever have to go through sexual abuse, and I’m so happy you were able to trust someone enough to tell your story. For me, when I told my sexual abuse to my therapist, it was the first time I was believed, validated and showed any kind of empathy. That felt like a gift, as my parents (when I was 8 yrs old) didn’t believe me. I’ve had to carry that guilt and shame during my entire life. It’s horrendous to be betrayed by someone you trusted, and to trust again is difficult. Thanks for commenting and looking forward to reading more posts on your blog. Hugs, Deb
