    A timely post for me. My sister was just visiting and she has swelling of the legs and ankles. I learned a lot from the article. I think her blood pressure medication may be causing it. Hmmm.

      Oh good, glad it provided info. A couple of summers ago, we lived in an apartment (we discovered later that there was mold), and during the hot, humid days of summer, my husband’s legs and feet were constantly swollen. The doc didn’t actually diagnose it as edema and was puzzled. We moved in the fall to a newer apartment and he’s never had any problem since then. Not sure if it was the mold, or if living in a larger apartment, larger air conditioner or ?? helped. Hope you sister is ok.
