Quote: Emotional Abuse

My therapist was the first person who ever validated my feelings, allowed me to speak, and believed what troubled me throughout my adult years due to Emotional Abuse.  My mother is a Narcissist and void of empathy, never taking the time or ignoring any feelings that I had. The only words out of her mouth were cruel and nasty.

  1. Cherish, I had the same kind of mother that you had. Most people cannot comprehend that EVERYTHING they said to us was mean and nasty, that this was twenty -four hours a day, seven days a week, month after month, year after year, until we left home. The only exceptions for me was when we were around other people, at which time she didn’t say anything at all to me. That was the only time I ever got any peace and when she left for work. It’s still mind boggling to me when I really think about this. Only a malignant narcissists/psychopath/sociopath is capable of this type of ongoing diabolical behavior…toward their own child.

    1. Yes, and when you do the best action is NO CONTACT! It’s the only way and saves you from any further grief and pain. You can finally live your life and she can live in her miserable narcissistic life. Thanks for commenting.
